Blu-ray too Small for Metal Gear Solid 4

At 50GB, the Blu-ray offers nearly six times the storage capacity of a DVD – but it's still not enough for the demands of Metal Gear Solid 4. Earlier last week the game's assistant producer Ryan Payton confessed that the American and European versions would not carry the Japanese voice track due to storage limitations. Hideo Kojima further elaborated on the issue and stated in a Famitsu interview, kindly translated by Kotaku, that, "There's not enough space. We always talked about where to cut and what to compress."

Finally a really fun IPhone game??

Demiforce's Trism may be the first iPhone (and iPod Touch) game that is actually worth playing. Willingly, that is, because its use of touchscreen and built-in accelerometer controls sound far more interesting than playing a quick and dirty port of Bejeweled or Solitaire. Simon Carless from GameSetWatch spoke with Steve D. of Demiforce to learn more about the game, which is planned for a commercial release as soon as that SDK is ready for primetime.

Metal Gear Solid 4 to release on June 12, 2008!!

According to sources there now, the release of Kojima Productions action-stealth game will arrive on a Thursday, oddly enough. Even more interesting is that we're hearing word that Sony will be offering a hardware bundle that features MGS4, an 80GB PlayStation 3 and a DualShock 3 packed-in.

Get ready for limited Edition God of War PSP!!

The special edition edition PSP will follow in the tradition of last year's Star Wars Battlefront bundle and feature a rendering of Kratos emblazoned on the back side of the device.

The God of War package will come bundled with God of War: Chains of Olympus, a UMD version of the hit comedy Superbad as well as a gift certificate for a PlayStation Store downloadable game. Pricing is said to be set at $199.

Note: The image shown was one we created and does not depict the final color of the PSP.

FF7 on the NES for real!

The game has the storyline for the multi-disc PlayStation epic crammed onto a NES cartridge. Unofficial, yes, but officially awesome.

Effective February 29th, the current President of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios (SCE WWS) will resign from Sony Computer Entertainment Group. In his place, Kazuo Hirai, President and Group CEO of SCEI, will immediately assume responsibilities as president of SCE WWS, in addition to his current duties.

"The past 15 years at Sony Computer Entertainment has been the defining journey of my life so far," said Phil Harrison. "I am grateful to all the PlayStation family for their incredible support, guidance and friendship. It has been a privilege to serve as part of the team and be inspired by them on a daily basis. I am so proud of everything PlayStation has achieved and will continue to support its future in every way I can."
Phil Harrison is responsible for a major refocusing of the PlayStation group, through his "Game 3.0" initiative, announced at last year's GDC. He recently lamented that Sony Japan was not outgoing enough about social gaming.

Avoid Bankruptcy

In today's debt ridden society many people are in severe financial difficulties, often for reasons outside their control. So keeping track on your financial wealth at all times is extremely important. When you are having financial difficulties, it is important to ask for suggestions from legal professionals. To ask for better ways to manage your financial wealth. It is also very important to pay up loans on time to avoid further interest charge by banks. Pay on time or penalties will certainly be charged. I also never spend more than what i can afford, this avoided me from taking any unnecessary loans. I have a habit to only keep one credit card with me. This will keep me from paying annual fees and only pay interest off of one single card instead of many. I also save a sum of money in a bank with fixed deposit to ensure that i have cash to withdraw during bad times. Sad week for Arsenal....>.<

Firstly, the worst news of all this week is Eduardo da Silva horrific injury during the 2nd minutes in a Barclays Premier League match against Birmingham. The Brazil-born Croatia star required more than eight minutes treatment for what looked to be a serious ankle injury before being carried off on a stretcher following a tackle from Martin Taylor.

Next is Arsenal throwing away 3 points when Gael Clichy fouled Stuart Parnaby for a penalty and was scored by McFadden. Arsenal lead in the top of the table is cut to only three points after ManU victory of Newcastle.

Arsenal also unable to score a goal against Ac Milan earlier this week....making Arsenal second leg a real challenge.

I wish all the best to Eduardo da Silva and hope that he will be able to fully recover from this horrific injury and play football again one day.

Sony PSPhone

First image of Sony PSPhone, os this for real is still unknown. The rumor-that-won't-go-away makes a return in this supposed magazine scan, which displays the supposed device. The image illustrates how both gaming and phone calls would work in this effort by Sony Ericsson. I have to say it does look quite good...but i will not purchase it because i already have a psp slim and also an iphone.
